please please accept my apologies for not blogging for... err... god knows how long? it's been more than a month!!!!!!!! o.O!?and due to popular demand [check out my tag =P], i shall awake from my slumber and resume blogging. hope i can continue my blogging routine from now on.
today is a sad sad day. so sad i swore i could have cried. at first, i was hit by the harsh reality when liang zhen told me about 9 students in our class would leave. i was shocked. that's just about 1/3 of the class! di kai was using his GPRS phone to access that JAE website to check the results. suddenly i remembered that i havent paid for the JAE!! gosh... and di kai quickly checked for me if i would still be posted to any jc. phew... HC...
but i kept having butterflies in my stomach... i kept wondering if less of them, better if none, would have to leave. halfway through PW lesson, virtually the whole class has fled to the central plaza to find out the posting results. printed on the papers were NIRC numbers and the JC the person is posted to. already, i see some bandmates gathering in a small corner. i see mong consoling pq and some others... and i just couldn't go there. i quickly turned away. several weeks before, KK, li ling and some others were already worried that they couldnt stay. today was judgement day, and i dare not ask them for their posting results...
returning back to class, karen broke down. yan zhi was especially sad that all those who could get along well with him had to leave... zi ping, liang zhen, pei yueng, zhi hao and sherlene. i was also very much affected. they are all such GREAT friends!... and emotional as i am, i had to get out of the class several times to avoid looking at karen crying... tears kept welling up in my eyes.
okok... enough of this teary stuff. so what happened later in the afternoon was that a large part of the class went to cram into PQ's Anchorage house. we laughed... chatted... admired at PQ's masterpieces during her NYGH years... watched cartoons and played table tennis...
and we soon left at 4pm... it was also really sad to see pei yueng leave, for the last time. at least i took 171 with gwyneth and sherlene back home. first time i had a heart-to-heart talk with the girls... and it was pretty memorable, and sherlene later got off near hillview. she's appealing via Choir... and let's all just cross our fingers... and hope EVERYONE who's appealing back to HC gets in.
Question to ponder... Why are we given a chance to foster strong friendships during the first 3 months in JC, and after that, we are forced to separate for the rest of the 2 years, with regret and sorrow?
